Missions Camp 2023-Shelbina and Newark
God blessed us with an excellent group of students who had just finished 5th grade and their parents this summer. We were able to share about growing as a Christian, work projects for a neighboring community, outreach projects and a little about life in the country. Our prayer is that these students will continue to grow to maturity in Christ and reach their new middle schools for the Gospel.
Missions Camp 2022-Shelbina
God put together an amazing missions team for our first MMN-MO Missions Camp. These students came from seven small towns in Northeast Missouri. The goal of Missions Camp was to help students develop a deeper relationship with the Lord, as well as to show them they are equipped through the Holy Spirit to do missions. The students led VBS at Shelbina First Baptist Church and received hands on training in a variety of missions projects. The projects were designed to show students that loving their neighbor and advancing the Gospel does not need to be complicated. We use simple tasks such as playing with children, delivering meals, helping with yard work, worshiping together, and prayer walking as means to develop relationships, pray with, and share the Gospel with others. We are humbled and excited by the ways God used us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Our prayer is that the students have tasted and seen that the Lord is good and will continue to do his work as they return to their hometowns and schools.
